Shawn Mottram, Owner & Founder
Shawn has been in the cycling industry since 1995. His passion for riding and racing bikes has brought him all over the globe and back to Rhode Island again. Whether working as a shop mechanic and service manager at multiple locations in RI and MA, race technician for Shimano/other teams, or coaching adult riders and a kids mountain bike team, he has been happily knee deep in the greasy end of bikes for over 25 years.
CJ Congrove
CJ joined South Shore Bikes & Boards in 2021, bringing 14 years of professional knowledge and hands on skills to the team. Working as a race technician for Cyclesmart, as the personal mechanic to professional cyclocross racer Adam Myerson, and in multiple bike shops, CJ brings a huge knowledge base, vast technical skillset, and is just an all around good dude to have work on bike. The only questionable thing about him is he doesn’t drink coffee. But don’t worry, Shawn more then makes up for it.
